On this site you will find information on Accommodation in Rome Italy where you can search and contact property owners and managers directly and make your arrangements for your accommodation.
Rome, capital of Italy and Latium, the city lies 20 m. above sea level on the banks of the Tiber, in the Campagna di Roma. This is the most highly populated and largest city in Italy, an historical and cultural centre of extraordinary importance, the capital of the Roman Catholic Church.
The main tourist season starts at Easter and runs until October; peak periods are in spring and autumn, when the tour buses pour in and tourists are herded around like cattle. Numerous outdoor festivals and concerts and the fact that Romans desert the city for the beaches and mountains, which means very light traffic and a less-crowded city centre, makes summer almost worth the heat. If you do visit in summer, try to hit the sights early, take a long lunch and a nap, and then head out again around 18:00 to take advantage of the cooler evening. Winters are usually mild with few tourists and some fun events around Christmas time.

The students stage frequent exhibitions and recitals, and the main concerts of the city's most important summer festival - RomaEuropa - are performed in the grounds.
The terrace outside Villa Medici affords a sweeping panorama of the city's sky scape. The round fount ... Read More...
